This blog is based on my own search for those answers.
At one point, years ago, I was a fitness coach – helping people radically transform their lives for the better.
…yet a friend of mine who worked at a fast-food restaurant earned a bigger salary than me.
And he worked fewer hours!
It seems like I was giving everything to my clients and my coaching business – but not quite getting my fair share of the deal.
I desperately wanted to know how to get clients chasing me. I needed to know how to charge more for my services (instead of slashing my prices out of fear).
I had to figure out how to create a sustainable income from my skills – instead of scraping by each month after I’d paid my bills.
That search took me on quite a journey. I worked with mentors from around the world who had made millions as coaches and speakers.
I learned directly from – and became friends with – people that generated upwards of 9-figures per year doing what we do.
This blog gives you the no B.S, “say it as it is” truth about how to succeed as a coach, expert, or service professional. Not only from what I learned, but most importantly from what I applied and verified in my own life.

Learn From My Screw-Ups
Just to be clear, I don’t expect (nor suggest) you take this as the perfect, impeccable ‘guru’ specimen.
I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, and will continue to make them (its how we learn best sometimes, right?).
Also I don’t profess to ‘know it all’. I’m still learning every day and have mentors of my own, always a phone call away.
As Tony Robbins said in his awesome documentary: “I am not your guru.” There’s a lot of ‘guru worship’ going on in this industry already. Just accept that things won’t be perfect along the way. But you’ll get there, with persistence.
Its like the flight attendant tells you on the plane when you take off: “You can expect some slight turbulence before the plane hits a comfortable altitude.” Growing your coaching business will feel that way at times.
Another thing you should know is that I had no “rich parents”. No connections helping me out. No entrepreneurs in the family.
I had no ‘start up’ capital. Nobody gave me a few thousand dollars to start up my business.
I did it from the ground up. So I know that you can do it too.
In fact, with the advances in technology, tools and access to help available to help you grow an expert-industry business today, you should be able to achieve way more than I did in the last few years.
So, you can do this.
I became a coach to help people. I wanted to follow my passion, do something I enjoyed, and monetize my knowledge.
The problem was that not enough money was coming in. I didn’t know how to escape the time-for-money trap. Most of all, I didn’t feel I was making the impact I could be. I knew my skills and services worked. I also knew thousand – or even millions – of people out there would benefit from my help. But I didn’t know how to reach them.
I thought that when I got more money then I’d be able to expand my reach and help more people.
Back then I didn’t realize that success actually happens the other way around. When you get out there and ‘touch’ more people with your influence and wisdom, the success starts coming to you.
As legendary motivational speaker Zig Ziglar said:
“When you help enough people get what they want, you’ll get what you want.”
My way clearly wasn’t working. So I searched for people that had achieved what I wanted to do, made sacrifices to get their help, and made all my mistakes along the way.
And since then?
I’ve launched and grown multiple coaching / expert-based business for myself and clients all over the world – that each generate a healthy 6-figure revenue each year. I earn passive each month from putting my expertise into digital, automated products.
I’ve promoted hundreds of live seminars, retreats and workshops, and became an international speaker and mentor to other coaches and experts.
I personally consult some leading high 7, and 8-figure earning coaches and speakers on how to get more clients and build a stronger brand.
And most importantly, I created the lifestyle I always wanted: living on the sunny Mediterranean island of Cyprus, Europe.
I work casual hours (sure I have long days sometimes – but only because I absolutely love the projects I’m working on – they give me energy rather than drain me).
I’m financially secure – something I never felt growing up – and am able to provide for my family and people close to me.
I was able to make the income and the contribution I always wanted.
But make no mistake: I’m not telling you this to brag. That’s because
Just 5 years ago, I could barely afford my monthly rent payments.
I was lost, confused, and on the brink of giving up. I was seriously considering doing the thing I swore to myself I’d never do:
Go back to a 9-5 job, working for someone else.
