“Justin, why don’t you offer ‘hacks’ to get success like many other people do? I think your audience would appreciate the quicker path”
… I don’t offer hack because I offer immersion.
I don’t encourage “quick paths” nor shortcuts because that enables a mindset that the journey to success is of less value than the outcome of success.
There are a majority of my audience who would like the “quick fix”, sure.
But that’s not the clientele I work with.
My clients come to understand how the business development phase of growth is not a “90 day sprint”
That’s it’s not about the micro tactics – but about the macro strategy.
That’s it’s not about scaling faster and harder … but actually about pausing, reflecting and allowing yourself and your business some much needed time to breathe.
This is complete contrast to most of the posts you see on your newsfeed. But it’s my truth, whether popular or not.
Mine is the unsexy program.
The boring business plan.
It’s about sustainability not sacrifice.
About strategizing not hustling.
About quieting the ego to trust others to help you, rather than doing it all yourself and justifying it as a badge of honor (your wealth is NOT a causality of how many hours you work… and more hours worked does not entitle you to ‘deserve’ more).
Here’s the truth that’s never spoken:
The hard work of business isn’t the hustling on your feet all day. It’s not the coaching 10 hours back to back.
No. That’s your COMFORT zone.
It’s what you’re used to.
And you cling to it hoping if you just do enough it’ll somehow transform your wealth and freedom.
But the true hard work of an entrepreneur is THINKING.
Strategizing.
Committing.
Letting go.
Emotional resilience.
Leadership.
Holding an empowering vision and enrolling – and re-enrolling – your team, shareholders, clients and partners into it over and over and over again.
This is the ‘hard’ work.
Mental / emotional work.
The physical work (the hustle) is the easy bit. You can do that all day long (you’ve proven it)
But can you do 15 minutes a day or focused presence?
Or 20 minutes a day of strategic planning and future creating?
Can you take the step of trusting another instead of ‘figuring out’ yet ANOTHER skill you know you’ll never master?
That’s the ‘hard’ work.
That’s the immersion.
And that’s why the hacks won’t help you.
