How This Fitness Trainer Got 30 New Clients & $10k Upfront in Under a Month

30 new members (with more consults to go)

Over $10,000 upfront income.

Additional $3625 per month DD revenue.

My Mastermind client Tracey is the the owner of IronGirlz gym in California.

She faces stiff competition with dozens of gyms and boxes in her area.

The big challenge Tracey had was investing in ads campaigns to get clients, while keeping the business profitable.

Tracey charges 50% higher rates than the competitors around her. Because she knows her value and doesn’t want to compete on price.

After just a few weeks working with me on my Fitness Business Mentorship program, Tracey sent me this private message, which I was thrilled to get!

Here’s how we worked together with a private mentoring program to help Tracey boost her sales – even though she already charges 50% more than competitors just across the road!

1. Don’t Slash Your Price. Instead, Add Value

When similar coaches are luring prospects away by undercutting your price, its tempting to drop to match them.

But don’t!

Competing on a price is a game where everyone loses. You lose money, and your clients get a lesser service when you have less to invest.

Instead, add value to your offers, and use “Authority Branding”.

Tracey has positioned herself as the specific ‘go-to’ solution for women who want more confidence and empowerment through fitness.

While other gyms serve anyone and everyone, Tracey keeps the ‘velvet rope’ up and serves only a specific market.

This makes her package more desirable as her products and community are based all around the needs of that customer. Her tribal atmosphere is stronger, and its easier to polarize her market.

This makes her marketing more efficient.

Here’s more on how to create a super powerful BRAND in your local town, from a 1-1 session I did with another fitpro client:

2. Use A Front End Offer (FEO) to Create Interest

Most coaches make the mistake of trying to convince a new prospect to sign a contract for ongoing payments, before they know, like and trust the provider.

Instead, by offering a package that gives a result but without the two biggest obstacles to commitment (time and money) you’ll attract a lot more leads.

Tracey offers a 21-Day Fitness Challenge that is loaded enough to get great results fast, but also leaves enough intrigue for her clients to then want to keep working with IronGirlz long term.

3. Keep Your Facebook Ads Simple

Facebook ads will work for you when you have the right strategy, and you keep it simple.

However… the first thing to do is know your numbers!

What does it cost you – on average – to generate a lead, and a sale?

You must know these metrics: Cost Per Lead (CPL) and Cost Per Sale (CPS).

This serves as the foundation to all your paid advertising efforts. With this info we know how much we can invest and what ROI to expect before scaling up.

Tracey’s ads are simple – offer value, and lead people to try the 21-day intro program.

We keep it simple, and it works like gangbusters. Right now Tracey is buying customers for under $30 each!
